About HDB Block Rankings
The CheckHowMuch leaderboard ranks all 9,694 HDB blocks in Singapore across key metrics: resale price, affordability, price appreciation, and transaction volume. All rankings are calculated from official HDB resale transaction data published on data.gov.sg, covering transactions from January 2017 to present.
Rankings update automatically each month as new transaction data becomes available. Price rankings use median transaction prices to reduce the impact of outliers. Appreciation rankings require at least 5 transactions and sufficient historical data to calculate a reliable 5-year trend. Affordability rankings require at least 3 transactions to ensure meaningful price data.
Each ranking page offers filters by town and flat type, allowing you to find the top-performing blocks in specific areas. Click any block to view its complete transaction history, current valuation estimate, and lease decay projection.
